About Our Business

DeMello Transport is a private entity owned by Henry (Hank) DeMello.  Hank has been
involved with newspapers and the transportation of newspapers for over 30 years.  
DeMello Transport hauled and transported newspapers untill 1996 and at the time
merged with another company that is located in Yuba City, California.  Now that Hank's
contract has expired he has decided to return to the Sacramento area.

DeMello Transport specializes in the hauling of newspapers and paper products and
has hauled every major publication in Northern California and Nevada.  It has 18 full
time and 5 part time employees and has truck facilities in Sacramento and in Antioch,
California.  All of the employees have had background checks.

All of the trucks have cell phones for direct communication to delivery locations.   All
of the trucks are serviced and inspected at regular intervals to prevent costly
breakdowns and delays.  All trucks are less that 3 years of age.

At present DeMello Transport has 15 trucks ranging in size from van to 20 foot bobtail.  
Three of the trucks are equiped with liftgates.
